Shawn Perkins is an accomplished preconstruction and construction leader with 34 years of experience. Prior to starting Pactum Construction Services in 2015, Shawn worked for Turner Construction Company and other firms managing and leading complex projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, multi-family residential, K-12, higher education, and bio-pharmaceutical. With expertise in preconstruction estimating, subcontracting, and construction project management, Shawn has successfully delivered projects through various delivery methods, including lump sum, design build, construction management, and cost-guaranteed approaches while achieving all subcontracting and workforce requirements.
Shawn’s robust portfolio includes significant projects such as the Art Institute of Chicago’s Modern Wing, the University of Chicago’s Center for Biomedical Discovery, and Toyota Park (Chicago Fire Soccer Stadium). He is highly skilled in preparing conceptual and design development cost estimates, managing construction schedules, and ensuring project success through meticulous planning and oversight.
In addition to his technical expertise, Shawn is a dedicated mentor, providing coaching and guidance to preconstruction and operations staff. His proficiency in industry-standard software applications such as Prolog, Procore, and CPM Scheduling software enhances his ability to manage complex projects efficiently.
